What is radiant heat transfer?

Ever wondered how heat from the sun can travel 93 million miles through a sub-zero vacuum and still be felt on Earth?

The answer is radiant heat transfer.  Infra-red light travelling from the sun is only felt as heat when it is absorbed by another object.

In the same way, infra-red light waves leave the surface of a Cosyheart Heater and travel through the room. When they come into contact with another surface this radiant energy causes the molecules of that surface to oscillate, releasing heat.

Traditional, less efficient heating systems simply heat the air. Cosyheart Heaters warm the objects in a room with a comfortable, even heat.

Energy efficient

Cosyheart Heaters have extremely low power consumption, helping you to save money on energy bills. They use approximately 25 Watts per m2 when heating a well insulated room with a U-value of 0.2W/(m²K), That's up to four times less than some convection systems.

Versatile

Cosyheart Heaters can be installed where-ever they are needed, making it easy to heat any room. All you need is a plug socket and a wall space.

This can be a major advantage for home extensions and conservatories, where the existing system may not be able to heat extra radiators.
